Equine Nutritionist Mileage Policy

To ensure fair and consistent reimbursement for mileage incurred while providing equine nutrition services to clients. This policy outlines the procedures for mileage charges.

This policy applies to all mileage incurred by Patty Campbell while traveling to and from client locations for the purpose of providing equine nutrition services.

• The mileage reimbursement rate is set at 67 cents per mile for 2024, in accordance with the IRS standard mileage rate for business use.
• This rate may be adjusted annually based on updates from the IRS.

1. Recording Mileage:

• Mileage is recorded for each trip made to a client’s location.
• A log is maintained detailing the date, client name, destination, and number of miles traveled

2. Invoicing:

• Mileage charges will be included in the client’s invoice, clearly stating the total miles traveled and the corresponding reimbursement amount.
• Clients will be informed of this policy at the time of service agreement.

3. Exceptions:

• If multiple clients are visited on the same day, the total mileage will be divided proportionally among them.
• Travel within a 30 miles radius of 15250 FM 858, Athens Texas 75752 will not incur mileage charges unless otherwise stated in the service agreement.

Clients will be provided with a copy of this mileage policy and it will be available on the official Moonlight Rose Ranch website for transparency.
